a day in the life
There is no typical day for an FBI Agent. When your an FBI Agent, life changes every single day. You could be doing anything from practicing your firearm skills, to holding a search for illegal drugs, to testifying in court... the possibilities are endless. One thing is for certain though: your job will NEVER be boring.
FBI Special Agents must be willing to travel. They should be able to leave at the FBI's dispense. Special Agents will mostly have jobs far away from their homes. However, no matter how much it may seem that the work of an FBI Special Agent is very tedious, you would still have time to relax. Many people believe that an FBI Agent never gets time to spend with family, but that's not true. An FBI Agent gets plenty of time to spend with family and friends; they don't act like robots, only doing their job!

AN EXAMPLE DAY IN THE LIFE
I started the day out with firearms training. I was assigned to an indoor training area, but I could've also easily been trained in an outdoor facility. Me and a couple of other agents practiced hitting koving targets at a close range. We have to be able to make our mark easily if we are ever needed to shoot a gun. Afterwards, I cleaned my weapons; I have to make sure that they're nice and clean for next day's practice!
After cleaning my weapons, I received a radio message saying that an imprtant suspect had been found, but we needed to capture him. I went to help arrest him, but some of the other agents went to his hideout, where he was bound to go if he managed to escape being arrested.
We looked at a map to determine the fastest possible route to the bank, where he was currently holding a robbery. After deciding those, we decided who would do what on this assignment. We then went to the bank and carefully surrounded him, making sure not to harm any agents or the public. Thankfully, he didn't put up much of a fight, and we were saved having to use violence on him. we then led him starightaway to the Washington Field Office, where he was questioned and processed, meaning we collected information about him (such as his fingerprint). He was then sent to the Federal Detention cenetr, and we questioned eyewitnesses and accomplices. We were able to get a good lead on how he managed to get into the bankwithout any detection, but it was too late after that to do any more resaerch; it would have to wait for tomorrow. I went back home and rested my head for a bit before it was time to go back to my exciting life as an FBI Agent.
